A Message About Bas Bleu and COVID-19

We hope this letter finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. You’re important members of the Bas Bleu family, so we want to update you on how we’re facing the COVID-19 situation.

Rest assured, Bas Bleu is still open for business! Our call center reps are available to take your calls and answer your questions, and our warehouse team is processing, packing, and shipping out orders every day.

We’re working hard to balance the high level of customer service you’ve come to expect from Bas Bleu with the needs of our employees and their families. We’ve diligently implemented the CDC’s sanitization recommendations throughout our facilities; our creative, marketing, and purchasing teams are working from home whenever possible; and we have reinforced our sick leave policies to ensure our employees’ wellness and security.

Our management team is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. If the needs of our employees, our professional partners, or our local communities change, Bas Bleu’s operations may change as well. We’ll keep you posted on how that could affect your orders.

We’re facing uncertain times…but the good news is we’re facing them together. For twenty-six years, Bas Bleu has served this wonderful community of readers, and we look forward to serving you for many more years to come. In the meantime, we’re going to keep doing what we do best: delivering terrific books, games, puzzles, and other little pleasures to lift your spirits and keep you company at home.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support in these trying times. Be well, dear bluestockings, and happy reading!

  1. Happy to know all is well with the hard working blue stockings of BasBleu…Love your posts, catalogs and commentaries. Sitting here this morning with my BasBleu mug of hot tea, checking over the latest posts from FB. Keep up the good work and best of luck to you all and big thanks for keeping readers happy!

  2. This house confinement means that I will use the cards which have the Bram Stoker quote to brighten the mailboxes of the friends and family who are the lights in my life.

    • What a wonderful idea! Now is the perfect time to cheer up the people you love with a surprise card in the mail.

  3. You are right. I am obsessed with buying blank cards, to have around, just in case.
Lately I have had friends call me to check on me and my sister who is living with me. I need to sit down and send my friends some of these cards.
I recently bought the beautiful flower cards that you can add sent to, I can try those out.

    • It sounds like you have pretty great friends, Bev. We bet they’ll be tickled to find a note from you in their mailboxes!
